Staff Reporter: The MPO Committee of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHHE) has decided to enroll 909 teachers who were appointed to vacant posts in various schools and colleges of the country in MPO. They applied online for MPO enrollment (government portion of salary and allowance) after being appointed. The decision was taken at the MPO Committee meeting held at the department on Monday.
The meeting was chaired by Mausi Director (College and Administration) Professor Mohammad Shamsul Huda. Several officials present at the meeting confirmed the news.
Director Shamsul Huda said that although 913 teachers country email list were supposed to be given MPOs, at the last minute, it was decided to give MPOs to 909 teachers after allegations of certificate forgery were made against four teachers.
Among them, it was decided to include 47 teachers from Barisal region, 42 from Chittagong, 62 from Comilla, 143 from Dhaka, 86 from Khulna, 142 from Mymensingh, 77 from Rajshahi, 237 from Rangpur and 10 from Sylhet region in MPO.
In addition, it was decided to include 67 people who applied offline in the MPO. It was also decided to make various amendments to the MPO sheets of 1,252 people.
About 30 officials, including two directors of the department, one director of the Madrasa Department, nine regional deputy directors of the Department of Education, and three representatives of the Ministry of Education, were present at the meeting.
Due to illness, the director general of the department, Professor Md. Mahabubur Rahman, could not attend this meeting.
